FURUNO NAVPILOT-300 AUTOPILOT
NAVPILOT300 completes the Furuno autopilot range with a more compact model that does not require an RRU (Rudder Reference Unit) designed mainly for small boats with outboard motors up to 40 feet. The main novelty of NAVPILOT300 is the GC-001 Bluetooth remote control with the "Gesture Control" function. The GC-001 has a very simple and intuitive operation that combines the convenience of a wireless remote control with the most advanced Furuno technology. Just press a button and with a wave of the hand you can steer the boat in the desired direction. NAVPILOT300 still guarantees the main functions provided by the traditional autopilot: Auto and NAV mode, SABIKITM and FishHunterTM. The latter two are particularly popular in sport fishing. The installation of the NAVPILOT300 autopilot has been considerably simplified thanks to the connectorized cables the processor is supplied with.
REMOTE CONTROL WITH "GESTURE" FUNCTION
The GC-001 remote control is the main novelty of the NAVPILOT300 autopilot. It is a Bluetooth control that connects to the autopilot control unit ensuring the performance of all functions. The central button "G" is used to activate the "Gesture control" mode. It allows, holding the remote control in hand, to direct the boat towards the desired direction with a simple gesture of the hand "POINT & SHOOT". This will activate the autopilot to plot the indicated course based on the positioning of the remote control. NAVPILOT300 is also equipped with buttons for changing straight-to-port course with steps of 1 or 10 degrees, selecting Auto Mode and Nav Mode. The maximum operating distance of the remote control is 10 meters from the processor. This revolutionary function has been studied and perfected by Furuno for the sport fishing market, where practicality and ease of use are the masters.
FANTUM FEEDBACK CONFIGURATION
FANTUM Feedback is a FURUNO technology that simplifies the installation of the autopilot, freeing you from the obligation to have the Rudder Reference Unit (rudder angle) on board. This is a software processing based on the vessel's position and course data and acts in a different way than the traditional rudder value compensation method. This configuration is only available for boats equipped with outboard motors.
DISPLAY MODE
The 4.1 '' color LCD display is very simple and easy to read. It features QVGA resolution (320 x 240) with 700 cd / m2 brightness. There are 7 keys at the bottom that allow you to access the different operating modes, STBY-AUTO activation and starboard-port correction.
OTHER FEATURES
NAVPILOT300, in addition to being equipped with the classic Auto autopilot modes (maintaining a specific heading) and NAV Mode (navigation to the waypoint or route), includes the SABIKI and FishHunter functions. SABIKI is an optimal mode for the types of fishing that require the boat to be parked in a specific position or bow. The FishHunterTM mode, on the other hand, features pre-programmed routes that can be selected via software
SIMPLE INSTALLATION
NAVPILOT300 has also been significantly simplified as regards external connections. The power supply, the NMEA2000 line (display and any other peripherals), and power supply of the power part, are always supplied with pre-connected cables coming out of the processor.
