Improve your knowledge of the surrounding environment and increase safety at sea with the new AIS 800 transceiver. It allows you to view class B / SO AIS (Automatic Identification System) data of the surrounding vessels with all the identification information and data on your chartplotter related to position, course and speed as well as sending your own.

Thanks to the transmission power of 5 watts it provides position data that is always updated and accurate.1 This device automatically transmits information on the navigation status of your vessel and simultaneously receives information relating to nearby vessels using the AIS system such as position, course, speed, and maximum proximity of the target (CPA - Closest Point of Approach). In this way the chartplotter offers a 360 ° view of the surrounding maritime traffic to navigate in maximum safety. The integrated active splitter allows you to use the same antenna as the VHF equipment without having to install an additional antenna. The new AIS 800 includes an integrated GPS (with connector for the optional external antenna) and integrates seamlessly into the system Garmin Marine on board. NMEA 2000/0183 connectivity allows for easy integration with compatible chartplotters, multifunction displays and simplifies the software upgrade process.

D. buongiorno ho un axiom 12+ preso da lei con 2 i70s+1p70s e radar quantum doppler. questo e' compatibile? anche sugli i70s sarebbero visibili rilevamenti ais? grazie Paolo

D. Buonasera, la mia imbarcazione dispone di un vhf raymarine ray 73 e di un display multifunzione raymarine axion 9. Vorrei sapere se il Garmin ais 800 puo' essere integrato nella mia installazione come ais attivo e puo' essere visto dalla rete seatalk e quindi anche dal display multifunzione axiom 9. Potete anche fornirmi indicazioni sul come collegarlo, sia all'antenna del vhf sia alla rete seatalk ? Grazie. Massimo Guerrini

D. volevo sapere la differenza tra Garmin Vesper AIS WatchMate XB-8000 con WiFi e gateway NMEA 2000 (scatola azzurra) CODICE: 010-02818-00 e Garmin AIS 800 ricetrasmettitore AIS (scatola nera) CODICE: 010-02087-00 sarebbe gradita scheda dati tecnici di entrambi. grazie

D. Gent.mi, volevo accingermi ad acquistare il trasmettitore AIS 800 della Garmin ma se ho capito bene dalle precedenti domande e risposte occorre anche un'antenna GPS dedicata in quanto lo strimento non prevede l'acquisizione tramite rete NMEA2000 della posizione GPS o sbaglio. Io a bordo ho un Plotter 722 che ha il GPS integrato e trasmette la posizione su NMA2000 che resterebbe inutile
R. 09-09-2020 Buongiorno, il nuovo AIS 800 incorpora già al suo interno un sensore GPS, nel caso in cui la copertura del segnale non sia valida, si può optare successivamente l'antenna GA38 esterna. Tutti gli AIS in classe B devono obbligatoriamente avere un GPS proprio, oltre ad essere collegati in rete per l'invio dei bersagli AIS a GPS/Chartplotter. Quindi in definitiva, nel Suo caso va benissimo l'AIS in oggetto. Cordiali saluti. Luigi Bianchi
D. Vorrei avere qualche chiarimento. A bordo ho un GPS map garmin 421 s ed un 521 s ed una radio VHF RAY 54 E . Essendo l'AIS 600 dotato di antenna esterna questa deve essere installata o e' sufficiente un collegamento NEMEA ad uno dei GPS? L'AIS 600 può essere collegato alla RAY 54 E? grazie tante !!!
R. Buongiorno, l'antenna deve necessariamente essere installata e collegata perchè gli AIS ricetrasmittenti hanno necessità di avere un dato GPS diretto, non proveniente da fonti NMEA esterne. Il collegamento con il VHF dovrà essere effettuato solo per quanto riguarda l'antenna, non via NMEA. Cordiali saluti. Luigi Bianchi
