Garmin GHP™ Reactor for reversible hydraulic steering systems
With new GHC50 Display
Our most responsive autopilot
9-axis solid-state Attitude Heading Reference System (AHRS) compass.
Reduction of deviation and course errors, rudder movement and lower electricity consumption, for precise and comfortable navigation.
Calibration and setting times
Patented Shadow Drive™ technology
Garmin, thanks to the innovative series of GHP Reactor autopilots, offers advanced technology for motor boats with hydraulic steering. GHP Reactor is one of the most sensitive and responsive systems on the market.
The GHP Reactor has been designed for all types of boats with hydraulic steering. It represents an indispensable aid during navigation when it is necessary to leave the helm to devote oneself to other activities or to control other devices on board.
AHRS system - solid state 9-axis compass
The GHP Reactor delivers unprecedented performance through the use of a 9-axis solid-state compass and reference system (AHRS) that minimizes course and deviation errors, thereby limiting rudder movement and energy consumption of the vessel, ensuring accurate and comfortable course keeping.
Responsive in every situation
This extraordinary autopilot adapts to any sea condition to help you stay on course. The GHP Reactor is able to perfectly maintain the set course even in the event of pitching and rolling in rough seas.
Calibration times and initial setup significantly reduced
All autopilots require commissioning and calibration. The new Reactor autopilots, compared to previous versions, have simpler processes and setup and calibration times have decreased considerably.
Full integration with Garmin chartplotters
With a compatible Garmin network chartplotter you can have total control of the GHP Reactor directly from the display. Through the BlueChart® g2 Vision cartography (sold separately) it is possible to exploit the potential of the innovative Autoguidance function, automatically following the best route to reach a point on the GPS. The GHP Reactor, in addition to keeping course in any sea condition, can easily perform numerous pre-programmed procedures, such as search and trolling.
Always stay in control with Shadow Drive technology
Using Garmin's exclusive Shadow Drive feature, the GHP Reactor autopilot disengages the rudder, allowing you to remain in control of the vessel should the situation require a quick maneuver or emergency procedure. As soon as you are back on your intended course, simply re-engage the autopilot by pressing the activate button and the GHP Reactor will take over command of the vessel.
Connecting to devices on the network
The GHP Reactor autopilot connects to the Garmin Marine Network via NMEA 2000® allowing data sharing with compatible chartplotters. Supports up to 3 GHC™ 50 data display controllers which can also be controlled via an optional wireless remote control or with quatix®, the world's first marine GPS watch.
