MAGNETRON SCANNING IN A COMPACT AND SOLID GARMIN RADOME
Equipped with advanced features usually found only on open arrays, these powerful 18” and 24” radomes offer more precise detection of marine traffic, obstacles and weather for peace of mind while on the water.
Radar antenna, light and resistant, offers a transmission power of 4 kW, and a dual range mode that allows you to navigate in extreme safety. In addition, the “No Transmit Zone” function allows you to select, in particular cases, a specific area of the radar sector and thus deactivate the chosen area.
By connecting the GMR 18 xHD3 antenna to a multifunction display and an optional heading sensor, you can take advantage of the MARPA function which allows you to obtain information on the navigation status of other vessels such as direction, course and speed, for up to 10 targets. at the same time.
Connecting to the network
The GMR 18 xHD antenna can be connected to the existing Garmin Marine Network in a 'plug and play' manner. Once connected, the multifunction displays of the onboard system can display the information coming from the antenna.
