Speed / Temperature GTS 10 adapter
With Garmin's Analog Water Speed and NMEA 2000 General Temperature Adapter aboard your vessel, you can refresh your old gauges by transitioning from analog to digital. The adapter, which is simple to install, captures the data generated by traditional analog gauges and converts it into a NMEA 2000 signal in order to create or expand the network without replacing all the equipment on the boat.
With the Garmin GST 10 adapter, you can convert the analog information provided by the compatible water speed sensor and water temperature sensor or a combined speed / water temperature sensor (not included) on the boat into the NMEA 2000 network. GST 10 allows you to view speed and water temperature information on compatible Garmin display devices connected to the NMEA 2000 network.
Garmin's line of analog NMEA 2000 adapters are easy to add to any existing marine network. Once installed, data from the adapters can be viewed via the Garmin GMD 10 digital navigation display and other compatible Garmin devices. The simple configuration will allow you to bring the old control panel into the digital age.
