Browse in total safety In an emergency situation, a reliable communication apparatus is of paramount importance. The Garmin 215i AIS VHF, robust, compact, waterproof and with DSC (Digital Selective Calling) system, guarantees excellent transmission and reception quality.
It also allows you to view class A and B AIS (Automatic Identification System) data, identification information and data relating to the position, course and speed of surrounding vessels within the range of the VHF on your chartplotter.
Unlimited connection Easy to install and use, the new VHF 215i AIS connects via the NMEA 2000 network to compatible chartplotters and multifunction displays via the NMEA 2000® network. The new VHF 215i AIS is equipped with DSC Class D selective digital calling, for emergency calls and direct calls with user-programmed MMSI, to be safe in any situation. The VHF 215i is also compatible with the second GHS 11i radio station.
Communicate in style The new design matches perfectly with the latest GPSMAP®722 / 922/1222 Touch, GPMAP 1022/1222, GPSMAP 7400 and GPSMAP 8400 chartplotters and multifunction displays for a console in full Marine style.
