The new VHF 315i is a modular system that guarantees maximum comfort on large boats where it is necessary to have a station with multiple communication stations or on boats where there is no space to install a traditional console VHF.
It is equipped with DSC Class D selective digital calling, for emergency calls and direct calls with user-programmed MMSI, to be safe in any situation and comply with the latest industry standards. Programmed with international navigation channels, it is easy to use and integrates seamlessly into the onboard Garmin Marine system. It features an integrated GPS receiver with connector for the optional external antenna.
Included with the VHF 315i is a GHS 11i handset and a new active loudspeaker for use as an intercom for up to 3 stations. The GHS 11i unit is a compact and robust handset, completely waterproof, equipped with a 2 ”LCD display, multifunction keypad and dedicated buttons for accessing channel 16 and the DSC function. This device can also be used as a secondary station of the VHF unit.
The selectable 1/25 W transmit power of the new VHF 315i offers peace of mind and safety to all on board. NMEA 2000 connectivity allows for easy integration with compatible chartplotters, multifunction displays and simplifies the software upgrade process.
