Humminbird® Launches the new APEX series
A new series of top Multi-Functions with Full-HD Display, First-Class Sonar and new Network Options
Humminbird has been for decades a dominant leader in Electronics able to put the most powerful and intuitive devices in the hands of many sport fishermen in order to make every fishing day as productive as possible. APEX represents the most advanced offering available to date, offering a variety of uses and sizes like never before.
Display dimensions and features :
In full-HD, 1920 x 1080 and in three different sizes 13 " , 16" and a massive 19 " these displays make the most incredible details of the sonar and cartography used visible, ensuring that we do not miss even the most hidden target. The APEX Cross Touch ™ interface is powered by a powerful dual core processor that provides lightning-fast and intuitive control, as well as the possibility of fast customization of the views and parameters, whether they are done through the Touch Screen or by dedicated keys. Thanks to its low profile design, Apex will give us the possibility to dress our console in a more modern and pleasant way with the choice of a front mounting or through a rear anchorage making Apex the natural combination of any steering position.
Still in Full HD, Apex offers even more display modes and more options thanks to the support of a DOUBLE sonar channel able to manage two different transducers at the same time. The user will therefore have the best of Humminbird technology available with the renowned Dual Spectrum and MEGA Imaging + ™ as well as the second usable channel for top performance in terms of power and range of use. 
APEX is basically equipped with a dedicated connection to Humminbird transducers for the management of the famous MEGA Side ® Imaging + ™ , MEGA Down Imaging + ®
and Dual Spectrum 2D which today have even improved their depth and lateral opening potentials up to 75 meters in width and depth (depending on the range of freq. used). Furthermore Apex is equipped with a second connection to support Chirp transducers up to 2 kW of power and automatic transducer recognition (Airmar® transducers ID) thus simplifying configuration and settings to obtain the best possible result.
In addition to all this, confirming Humminbird's vocation for sport fishing, Apex also offers a rich list of options for navigation and connectivity so as to allow the user to configure the display tailored to their needs.
We start with integrated GPS and basic Humminbird cartography, add Autochart Live and Navionics® for the best possible cartographic coverage and confidence. For those who want more, there are still many options available:
- TWO Ethernet ports for multiple connections such as a second display , Chirp Radar, Minn-Kota I-Pilot link engine without having to add dedicated Hubs
- NMEA 0183 port for an external GPS receiver and accessories in NMEA 0183
- NMEA 2000® network supporting virtually all NMEA 2000 data and accessories including navigation data as well as Engine Data, Fuel Level and Electrical Data
- Bluetooth® and Wi-Fi communication to support Humminbird, Minn Kota and Cannon accessories as well as Navionics® Plotter Sync functionality.
- HDMI Video In / Out connection to connect One-Boat Network HDMI compatible video inputs or displays
- One Boat Network ™ provides exclusive integration and control of Minn Kota® i-Pilot® Link ™, surface anchoring systems as well as Cannon® Optimum electric sinkers
- Compatible with Humminbird CHIRP radar, Fusion® audio, autopilot, VHF radio systems and CZone® Contact 6 / Contact 6 Plus digital switching devices
