RADAR OPEN ARRAY
The maximum expression of Design, unparalleled high performance, Raymarine's Cyclone solid state radars offer sailors the confidence to face the most difficult conditions, to navigate in heavily trafficked areas with complete peace of mind and to facilitate the search for food. Cyclone radars are available in different options with 3, 4 and 6 foot antennas and two power options (55W / 110W). Each model is equipped with innovative sensing technologies, including RangeFusion ™, rapid rotation at 60 RPM and Bird Mode.
The aggressive design inspired by aircraft wings represents something unique and will be appreciated by everyone, especially the most attentive to aesthetics.With a limited height of 13.1 inches (335 mm), and the particular design of the lower profile, Cyclone allows greater installation flexibility compared to the design of the boat.
The 3 foot Array allows the installation of an open radar in confined spaces. Cyclone is our lightest open radar. The 3 'models weigh only 23 kg!
The innovative design of the base and the cable gland conceal the cable connections ensuring
a clean and elegant installation (however, the possibility of installing external cables is foreseen).
THE CYCLONE TECHNOLOGY
High-precision radar image thanks to Pulse Compression CHIRP technology e
to the innovative radar beam narrowing technique: these two technologies make it possible to obtain excellent results
target discrimination and higher long-range resolution. High rotation speed, 60 RPM, and scanning
360 degrees offer accurate target tracking in real time.
• Doppler tracking simplifies the interpretation of targets, recognizing the dangerous ones, highlighted in red, and those
safe highlighted in green, for greater navigation safety • Professional level ARPA target monitoring.
Cyclone automatically tracks up to 50 targets. • This feature was developed upon express request
of the United States Coast Guard
High performance for locating seagulls • Quickly locate seagulls above '' mangianza '' schools
• Bird mode improved thanks to Pulse Compression (CHIRP) technology. Cyclone intelligently and automatically optimizes
gain and adjustment settings for identifying seagulls from miles away, reducing noise.
• RangeFusion ™ technology combines short and long pulses into a single high-clarity radar image, while displaying both short and long range targets with exceptional resolution. • Short pulse scanning is optimized for targets close to the boat, while pulse scanning
long range is effective for detecting long range targets. Cyclone's RangeFusion technology combines the two scans, long and short pulse, into one easy-to-interpret radar image.
