Compatible with Simrad NSS evo3 and NSS evo2 multifunction displays, NSO evo2 systems and S2000 series fish finders
Three independent channels The S5100 is our first sounder to feature three fully independent sonar channels offering three simultaneous coverage for up to three different depth ranges, with unchanged performance at each range. You can choose to connect three single-channel transducers or pair one dual-channel and one single-channel transducer to create the perfect sonar coverage for fishing grounds and species.
Absolute sharpness CHIRP sonar uses rapid pulse sequences to provide improved target resolution and noise suppression over traditional single-frequency sonar solutions. Thanks to the S5100's advanced CHIRP technology, you can have an absolutely clear view down to the bottom, with no disturbances or stray echoes in mid-water.
Support for wide angle transducers Simrad S5100 is compatible with Airmar's CHIRP wide angle transducer series. This type of transducer is ideal for fishing pelagic species, with optimized coverage of the upper water column. Wide angle transducers are also useful in shallow water where traditional narrow beam angles can only provide limited bottom coverage. Increased coverage not only speeds up your search, but allows you to more easily locate individual targets.
Simultaneous views on split screen Multiple depth ranges can be viewed simultaneously thanks to the customizable split screen display configuration. Since all three sonar channels are completely independent of each other, different frequency ranges can be viewed in real time simultaneously on a single display.
Compatibility with "plug-and-play" multifunction displays The S5100 module can be connected to Simrad NSS evo3 and NSS evo2 multifunction displays, NSO evo2 Glass Bridge systems and S2000 series fish finders. High-speed Ethernet connectivity allows for easy onboard installation, virtually anywhere. The S5100 module can be used to add sonar functionality to a modular NSO evo2 system or to provide additional sonar functionality on integrated displays that incorporate sounder technology.
